Things I’d like to ask my guests to bring to my wedding:
1️⃣ Big, Beaming Smiles – No forced grins for the camera—just genuine, happy, we-love-you kind of smiles. Bonus points if they last past the first part of ceremony.
2️⃣ Uninterrupted Hours of Sleep – A rare and precious gift. Ideally delivered before the wedding, but I’ll also accept a post-wedding nap fund.
3️⃣ Zero Chasing Required – If you volunteered to do something, please just do it—no friendly reminders, no last-minute disappearing acts. Let me experience the joy of delegation actually working.
4️⃣ A Drama-Free Zone – This is a wedding, not a reality show. Unless you’re bringing plot twists I actually want (like surprise cake or a spontaneous dance-off), keep the drama at home.
5️⃣ An Appetite for Food, Not Gossip – The caterer is working hard, and so is my patience. Let’s focus on devouring the menu, not dissecting my life choices.
6️⃣ Dance Floor Energy – No standing around like statues—if I’m dancing, you better be dancing. Enthusiasm over skill, always.
7️⃣ Tissues (For Happy Tears Only!) – I’m allowing exactly one emotional breakdown per person. Any extra must be redirected to the dessert table for comfort.
8️⃣ A Vow to Just Enjoy the Day – No stressing over the little things, no complaints about the playlist, no side-eyeing my outfit choices. Just soak it all in and celebrate with me.
Love,
Bride-to-be,
Pratiksha
